THE ROTARY CLUB OF CHESTER ANNOUNCES ITS 2008 CITIZENSHIP AWARDS The Rotary Club of Chester is excited to announce that applications for its 2008 Citizenship award are now being accepted. The award is given in the form of a scholarship to two high school seniors from the Town of Chester who have displayed the principles and values of Rotary in the pursuit of their daily activities. This includes scholastic achievement, athletic achievement and community involvement that exemplifies the “Service Above Self” maxim. Each recipient will be awarded a $2,000 scholarship. Information and applications are available from the Guidance offices at Valley Regional High School, Mercy High School, Xavier High School, The Williams School and Vinal Tech High School. |
